The company has been involved in the successful implementation and maintenance of many IPC Programs in the private and public healthcare sectors for over 30 years. We employ a team of appropriately qualified and experienced IPC Consultants.
HICMR Consultants conduct Risk Assessments (RAs) / Reviews in all relevant specialty areas using the unique web-based HICMR Assessment and Report Program (HARP) to ensure a healthcare facility (HCF) wide approach, and to measure compliance with relevant current state, national and international standards, guidelines and Policies.
In addition to conducting RAs / Reviews, HICMR also provide IPC Consultants who work in collaboration with the client to implement and maintain a comprehensive, cost-effective HCF wide IPC Program.
HICMR employ experienced policy development resources to assist in providing evidence based IPC Policy Manuals and Toolkits. The Policies are web-based, tailored to the specialty areas and type of setting, and extensively researched and referenced.
HICMR has partnered with Kineo to develop IPC eLearning Courses to ensure ready access to affordable, high quality, evidence based specialty online learning. Courses include Gastroenteritis Outbreak IPC Management; Flexible Endoscopes-Ultrasound Probes (EP) IPC Risk Management; and Sterilising Services (SS) IPC Risk Management.
HICMR is ISO Certified, and the HICMR IPC Program is a Quality and Risk Management model compliant with ISO 9001: Quality management systems - Requirements; and aligned with AS/NZS ISO 31000: Risk Management - Principles and Guidelines.
