HICMR are able to provide assistance with the implementation and management of a comprehensive, cost-effective healthcare facility (HCF) wide Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Program across a broad range of healthcare facilities (HCFs), based on state, national and other relevant standards and guidelines. This is achieved utilising a standardised, risk management approach based on the depth, breadth and global experience HICMR has in developing and implementing IPC Programs.

HICMR have developed a range of evidence based HCF wide Risk Assessment (RA) Tools to assess client compliance with current standards and practices.

In addition, HICMR provide advice to HCFs and planning consultants for new developments and refurbishment on equipment and environment design, from an IPC perspective, according to all relevant state, national and international standards and regulations.

HICMR also support the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Healthcare (ACSQHC) focus on minimisation of Healthcare Associated Infections (HAIs), and provide our clients with products and services to meet the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHSS), Standard 3: Preventing and Controlling Infections Standard.
